Hello Families,

Welcome back! The first days of school are quickly approaching, and they are some of my favorite moments of the year. There’s nothing quite like it. 

The Year At Willard: What We Believe

At Willard, we believe that every single student can grow, thrive, and truly feel like they belong. Our job is to make learning accessible, meaningful, and joyful for every child. This year, we’re especially focused on: 

• Creating strong, engaging classrooms with high-quality instruction
• Building and maintaining a warm, inclusive school culture
• Making sure families feel connected, informed, and valued

As your admin team, we couldn’t be more excited to lead this year. We’re here because we believe in our students, our staff, and our families. We believe in the power and magic that happens when a school community comes together. 

We want Willard to be a place where your child feels safe, celebrated, and changed in all the best ways. Where you, as our families, feel welcomed and connected. 

This week, we’ll be sharing our first family newsletter of the year, The Whoot. It will include everything you need to know for the first day of school, important reminders, key dates, and tips to help the year start smoothly. Let’s make this an incredible year together!
